Worse rumor was that the film was to star Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith, who appeared with him in Pursuit of Happyness.. It’s not worse because Jaden’s a bad actor necessarily, he’s just kind of young and you have to assume that if they’re casting a kid his age then they’ll be turning it into a kiddie film instead of a tweener / family film the way the first one was..
