The Art of War

As of late I have been thinking about Wesley Snipes future career.. In short, there really isn’t one.. The actor has had to turn down what could have been a career - reviving role in a Spike Lee film because of his tax evasion problems.. Instead he’s going to have to stick to his direct - to - DVD roles like The Contractor, which mostly are just tarnishing the name of someone who used to be a pretty decent actor..

Word comes this week that Snipes’s career is continuing without the Spike Lee movie.. Now Wesley Snipes is working on a sequel to his 2000 action flick The Art of War.. Apparently Snipes was going to turn the sequel down but changed his mind, feeding the media some line about how he couldn’t resist playing the character again.. Couldn’t resist playing a mediocre character in a sequel to a lukewarm received picture.. Right.. More like he couldn’t resist something that paid money; any amount of money.. He’s got taxes to pay, after all..

Snipes has spent the majority of October filming The Art of War 2, in BC, a sequel to his 2000 actioner..

(On a side note : A film that was originally going to be called The Art of War 2 is now being retitled Intervention according to the IMDB.. That one stars Anthony ‘ Treach ‘ Criss..)
