The Actor / The Man / The Legend - Heath Ledger - 4th April 1979 - 23rd January 2008..

I know you guys expect the latest news, pics and trailers from all the upcoming movies here at Tomorrow’s Entertainment, but after the news regarding the death of Heath Ledger yesterday I felt it would be incredibly unfortunate to have immediate news regarding set pics from X - Files 2 or any other kind of news next to it.. As we get older things begin to affect us in a different way because the people that begin to pass away had a greater impact on our lives; Heath Ledger’s death did that to me..

Review: Cloverfield..

On the eve of his departure for Japan, Rob sees his going - away party as an opportunity to confess unresolved feelings and tie up loose ends.. His agenda takes an unexpected turn when a jolt shakes the revelers.. The crowd quiets down to watch news reports of an earthquake, then rushes to the roof to assess the damage.. A fireball explodes on the distant horizon.. A power failure follows.. Confusion gives way to panic as the partygoers stumble through the blackout and into the streets.. Amid the human screams and one inhuman roar, Rob and his friends must traverse a landscape that has changed, overtaken by something otherworldly, terrifying, monstrous.. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives..

Review: The Golden Compass..

A fantastic bestiary inhabits The Golden Compass, prowling and flapping and slithering and fluttering.. The animals, most of which are called daemons and are manifestations of the human soul, hover at the side of their people and near the story’s edge, where their coos and barks mix with the ambient clatter and clang.. Every so often, an animal leaps forward, its fur raised in alarm, its feathers fanned in flight.. And because these are no ordinary animals, they also offer words of comfort, advice, warning.. In this otherworldly realm, humans have no dominion over these creatures, yet they are not merely equals, either.. They are one..
