He’s going to shower us in Stardust this October but before that director Matthew Vaughn is going to start work on Thor, a movie version of the popular Marvel Comics character.. For the uninitiated, Thor is the hammer - wielding hero with long flowing blonde locks who’s sent from the planet Asgard to Earth to protect mankind.. Mark Protosevich ( I Am Legend ) has adapted the comic book series from the big screen and it’s understood that Marvel Studios are aiming to start production later this year..
